We have a bunch of big plastic bowls planted with all sorts of flowers in our garden. Today I saw that the crocuses in one bowl were preparing to bloom. So, since the weather is supposedly going to be horrible over the next couple of days (winds and snow), I decided to move the crocuses inside. I found them a nice place in the living room and, although the soil in the bowl was still completely frozen when I brought it in, the flowers opened up in a matter of minutes. Makes you smile right away :-)
