A visit from a small long-eared owl
Fresh from my garden: this little long-eared owl started "singing" (it makes funny noises: "poop-poop-poop-poop") in the middle of the day, so I took my camera and made a couple of shots. It took me quite some time to find the bird in the tree, but when I did, the bird decided to wake up and look straight into the camera for a nice portrait-shot :-)

I didn't know these birds can also be found in Slovenia. In which part of the country was this photo taken?

Sure, they live in Slovenia, too. This was taken in central Slovenia.
