Winter is a perfect time for birdwatchers, since birds migrate to the vicinity of human houses to feed in various bird-houses and feast on other goodies that humans prepare for them. With patience and a fistfull of seeds it is possible to tame the birds. This way they're not afraid of you when you stand in front of them with a huge camera :-)
